3 Powerful Persuasion Factors

What does it take to persuade others to see your point of view or to take action – these factors may seem subtle or even insignificant, but they can be incredibly powerful

  1. Total, unwavering inner belief about your convictions – those you are trying to persuade have a built-in BS detector, we know when someone truly believes what he or she is saying.  If you are not 100% convinced about which you are trying to persuade others, your chances go way down.  How do you cultivate that belief?  Build your own self-confidence and use meditation and introspection to get a good sense of what your strongly believe inside.  In Attracting Greatness, a significant part of the 5 Pillars of Greatness involves aligning your own personal purpose and beliefs with an unstoppable action plan leading to strong belief and immense ability to pursuade
  2. Listen, learn and empathize.  So many of us are in constant presentation mode where we are trying to convince others to do as we say instead of spending the time to understand where they are coming from and then helping them get what they want.   By starting with a rock solid, empathetic view of the emotional state our prospects are in we can help take them from where they are to where they want to go aligning our persuasion with their state of mind
  3. Know the value of relating to your market.  It is far easier to persuade those that like us, that hold us in high credibiilty, that see us as someone they wish to emulate – yes we may have flaws, but ultimately they want to be like us and so are much more willing to be persuaded.

So, does your market like you?  Do they feel you understand them?  Do you offer them positive hope, understanding and energy from THEIR perspective?

Leverage these 3 persuasion factors and you will be amazed at how much more people will come around to your way of thinking.
